The stories on this website started out as a photography project called ROOTS, trying to connect two generations that never had the time to get to know each other.
A tale of grandparents and grandchildren, a unique relationship to be cherished. Our children that I’m so proud of, what a painful loss it is not to be able to share that pride with my parents, Freddy Delagaye and Veronica Ng.
With these images and stories I want to create old and new memories for and with our children as a tribute to my family. Together we uncover stories about roots, traditions, talents and mixed cultures from unboxing archives on our attic. Stories that evoke feelings somewhere between a smile and a tear.
